1977/78 Doug Collins 76'ers jersey and warm up jacket.

The uniform has to be from after the 77-78 season. The Sixers didn't wear that style until 1978-79. The jacket has to be pre 1975-76. From 1975-76 through 1977-78, the Sixers wore the Liberty Bell warmups. So his rookie or 2nd season. I'm not up on Sixers gear before 1975.

I'm not certain they wore the Liberty Bell warmups in 1975-76, but I know they did in 76-77 and 77-78. I think Hunt Auctions had a white Collins jacket a few years back, that was similar to this. Might be in their archives.

I found a photo from 75-76 showing the bench players wearing the Liberty Bell warmups, so it's from one of Doug's first two season.

The Dawkins and Collins 76ers gear is very nice!!!

Here you go! A blast from the past! 1978-1979 "Stormin" Norm Nixon LA Lakers Game Worn Home Jersey Set. Tiernan brand. Great provenance. Acquired from Tom Duino, well known and long time Angels super collector from Orange County.....Who got it in 1978.... Enjoy!

Hi Greg! Wassup? Anyways, as for your question, Tiernan Lakers gamers have no year tags, they are custom made to the measurements of the players. How do I know if this was from the 1978-1979 season? Tom Duino informed me that he got this when he was in highschool in 1978. He took note of the exact year when he got it from an associate who works and deals with the Lakers players. Also, I have checked Getty images and had a match that directly identifies this jersey from that season. I also have a photo album from the 1978-1979 season of the Lakers. Thanks, Joe
