    In a slightly related note: Did anyone notice 70s-80s Spanjian Suns and 70s-80s Tiernan Lakers have terrible purple fading issues between the shorts and jersey? Many look dark blue after washing.

                    1996-1997 nick van exel home shirt. i believe this is originally a 90/91 blank that was used during the 96/97 season. DC said that this was the last year that champion supplied shirts for the lakers and they were short in supply.

                                        Your Van Exel is a unique and intriguing gamer.

                                        It looks like it had a major carryover...1990-91 tagging on a 1996-97 jersey...with sewn-on gold NBA logo, no less. Such an aberration gives it a unique flavor to me.
