For pre-1950 enthusiasts, here's Mickey Livingston, a backup catcher in the Show for 10 seasons, nearly all of which were spent with 5 National League teams. He came up with the Washington Senators in 1938, appearing in only 2 games for them.
One of my Favs...The slugger Dick "Wampum" Allen his last year for the A's 1977 Batting practice jersey maybe??
Random pop culture reference. The late Mitch Hedberg used to talk about items on Tv having "4 easy payments" "I'd like to have a product with three easy payments and one really difficult payment. Final payment must be made in Wampum"
It's much funnier now that I'll be thinking of having to pay in a batting practice A's jersey.....
