Take a good look at this.... Makes you wonder if Griffey's uniform number was somehow trademarked?

The above is a 1990 White Sox home Rawlings BP jersey MJ wore for a publicized pregame BP session before a White Sox home game. Sorry to use 2 posts; the intial post wouldn't accept additional text after the photo.

Here are a couple pics of Pete Rose from before his 1963 rookie year. In Fall 1961 Pete played in the Florida Instructional League between October 15th and December 13th. In Spring 1962 he worked out with the Reds in spring training. In Fall 1962 he played in the Florida Instructional League between October 13th and December 14th.

Here's a picture of Pete Rose wearing the 1979 Phillies "Saturday Night" uniform. I believe that the Phils wore these uniforms in only one 1979 game. I am sorry if someone else has already posted this picture.

Check out Sid Fernandez... Though his uniform is not "unexpected", his #10 surely is!

Wow, I needed to do a double-take. Is it me, or does that pic of Drew Henson look an awful lot like Doug Flutie? And he's wearing #7, and if you look at the sig, it even looks like "Doug Flutie"

Early 60s Raiders vs. 49ers. I think that's Hugh Mcelhenny on the far left. Who recognizes someone? No players identified in the photo. That seems like that's the Raiders inaugural style. 1960, no?

Now I think the king of unexpected uniforms would be the good ole Babe. Now we all know he started off as a Red Sox, but not for nothing it just seemed like he was always a Yankee. So to don a Braves uniform and Brooklyn Dodgers Uniform seemed a bit strange.
