Here are a couple pics of Pete Rose from before his 1963 rookie year. In Fall 1961 Pete played in the Florida Instructional League between October 15th and December 13th. Early 60s Raiders vs. 49ers. I think that's Hugh Mcelhenny on the far left. Who recognizes someone? No players identified in the photo. That seems like that's the Raiders inaugural style. 1960, no?

Now I think the king of unexpected uniforms would be the good ole Babe. Now we all know he started off as a Red Sox, but not for nothing it just seemed like he was always a Yankee. So to don a Braves uniform and Brooklyn Dodgers Uniform seemed a bit strange.Leave a comment:
