With the Orioles, you can never be entirely sure of anything, but that nameplate doesn't look right to me. Looks like 4" letters when it should be 3"...

From The Doug Friedman and Mick Wong Collection. Very rare 2001-2002 Kobe Bryant Game Worn Road Jersey with the 911 commemorative patch. Worn versus the Portland Trail Blazers in the playoffs that season. Size 52 +4. Tremendous game use and stench all over!!!! Enjoy!

Ken Griffey Jr. - '97-'98 LVS C271 model

This one has the sort of extreme use I had been looking for on a Seattle era LVS bat. There is nice pine tar on the handle, very heavy overall barrel use, with numerous seam impressions, ball marks, ink transfers and the most cleat marks I have seen on one of his bats.

Also picked this up at a local thrift store - a Nashville Sounds signed, game-worn jersey - I'm ALMOST certain this was worn by former Pirate/Marlin/etc Jimmy Anderson - he wore #13 for the Sounds as well and this looks like his autograph, so I'm like 90% sure.

But if I'm wrong, please let me know!

The Nashville Predators had their annual equipment sale today, and, minus the staffers being able to buy things in front of us before the season ticket holders could even look at anything, I came away with the following:

Joel Ward pair of game worn gloves (pretty cool having something worn by the first African-American player in franchise history)

Jordin Tootoo game worn glove w/ a big hole in the palm

Practice-worn jersey

No jerseys w/ names on them were for sale this year...last year's was much better but I guess that's how the puck drops.
