Pick this up awhile ago but at an appearance last night Rizzo confirmed that a coach wrote the note inside the helmet for him. Any photo matching help would be much appreciated, I searched on getty images and was unable to find anything. It is authenticated to last game of 2013. Not sure how to post more than one picture at a time so I'll post them in a few separate messages.

Cubs Catching fielding helmet question?

Does anyone know the last year the Cubs used the manufacturer of this helmet (American Baseball Cap)? Trying to determine if this is Jody Davis' helmet (it has #7 on the back). Thanks in advance!!!

I believe ABC provided helmets until 2002? It is my understanding that they were then bought out by Rawlings. Congrats on the possible Davis. I heard the story about the helmet from someone in line at the convention last weekend.

I have the Soler MLB debut lineup card, but it won't upload for some reason. These seem to be gaining steam with players because I couldn't get a few others because the player requested them.

Never thought I'd ever post in this thread but I got this 2014 game issued JRD Cubs road jersey today. I collect and wear game issued JRD jerseys to play in my baseball league and will wear this one this season.
