The bat was acquired at Ebbets Field in '47 after a Dodgers/Cardinals game, with letter of provenance spelling out the details from the original owner and family. The script signature early models from Musial are very tough to find. It has a great patina and look on display with nice and heavy overall use; a great example from one of the all time best and definitely one of my favorites in the collection.
Ben,
I'm not that big of a baseball guy, but all I can say is WOW! You consistently pick up some of the nicest bats I've seen in the hobby. Only quality items, which even a football guy like myself can appreciate. Congrats on another fine pick-up!
Small addition off of eBay...2008 NLCS Game 4 baseball with good use (pitch from Blanton to Lowe, fouled off). The seller, who had another up for sale recently, was real personable and was able to work out a good price.
Steve "Dr. Death" Williams
1979 Game-Worn Sooners jersey
All-Big 8 - Offensive Guard during the Switzer era.
Better known as "Dr. Death" the professional wrestler. Williams draped the jersey over his chest for a 'Wrestling Revue' cover shoot. Compare the bottom left of the #6.

Very cool older NCAA piece. Who manufactured the jersey?
At the Titans/Ravens game (well, it was a "game" for about 3 quarters), I got the following:
Game used glove of Anthony Allen, rookie RB #35
" " Ed Dickson, TE #84
Also got photos (I know this isn't game used but still cool) signed by:
Titans:
Kenny Britt
Cortland Finnegan
Jake Locker
Ravens:
Anquan Boldin
Ed Dickson
Joe Flacco
John Harbaugh
Wilbert Montgomery
Michael Oher
Ricky Williams
And got photo ops with Leigh Anne Tuohy and Collins Tuohy, the "real life" mother and sister of Michael Oher. Really nice people and being from Memphis like me made that even cooler (well, at least to me! ha ha)
