Re: November Pick-ups
Picked up a couple jerseys this weekend, but am not completely sure of the origin.
1. I believe this VERY strongly to be a Vandy game used jersey - I'm like 95% sure it's one.
2. This jersey has a speedline tag, and I can't find anything on it at all...to me it strongly resembles a LSU jersey but I have NO idea.
Anyone have any insight on these? Thanks in advance!Comment

Re: November Pick-ups
Well after doing a little research I DID find that the Vandy jersey IS a Vandy jersey - Thomas Welch's freshman game used jersey prior to him switching from 86 to 76 and from tight end to O-Line. He was a 7th round draft pick of the Patriots a couple years ago but I don't think is playing anymore.
Still interested in any insight anyone has on the Defino jersey.Comment

Re: November Pick-ups
2nd is one of the sickest Cano's I have ever seen. Its a 2010 uncracked SSK.Absolutely hammered and tons of tar, cleat marks and ball marks. If anyone wants to help with a photomatch on this one that would be great. Unfortunately, he used an SSK for most of the season and matching this one will be a little tougher. Willing to offer a reward if someone can match it. Date on knob is 4/7/10.
I have a few more goodies coming later this week too.Comment

Re: November Pick-ups
I was able to pick these up from the Mets and they arrived today:
Mike Stanton "Giancarlo" game used bat photomatched and MLB authenticated
Game used baseball hit for a single by both Chipper Jones and Dan Uggla during his hit streak. Authenticated to both hits
Game used baseball hit for Jimmy Rollins for a single, Chase Utley walk, Hunter Pence single(RBI), Ryan Howard single(RBI). It is authenticated for all 3 hits and the walk.
Russell Wuerffel
Always looking for Chipper Jones game used bats and authenticated hits and MLB authenticated commemorative logo basballs.

Got a UT football, basketball, baseball trilogy this month....
Former Freshman All-American Rashad Bobino. Probably more famous for getting his butt kicked by UFC fighter Roger Huerta after punching a girl on 6th street! http://www.break.com/usercontent/201...fight-1894739#
Good conversation piece to say the least...
Jason Klotz 2001 Home Jersey with 9/11 patch

Iowa State vs Iowa 1934 team signed (Iowa State) game ball. This was the last game played between the two rivals for 43 years due to bad blood! Iowa State won!Comment

What is your opinion of Kingman's performance?
Game used bat from Dave Kingman's last season in the majors, 1986 Oakland A's.

The knob marking (26) is interesting, as I'm wondering if Kingan ID'd his own bats? During his time with the Cubs, I picked up a bat from a clubhouse source, and the knob didn't feature thhe usual "Yosh marks"...it instead had a big "10" in red, like the A's bat (10 was his Cubs uniform number).
