Thanks for your answers to this question of Giants memorabilia. Looks like some of you parted with some serious money (Lincecum jersey, Beltran, etc.) Just wondering about your purchase philosophy--somebody you follow, somebody headed for the Hall of Fame, somebody affordable? Just curious.

In my case it's players that both my son and I like. Very interested in the big guys on the pitching staff and,posey. Currently have lincecum, posey and Cain. Would like to add Wilson and bumgardner. With the MLB authentication I am trying to be sure I can tie it to a game they played in even if MLB says it is game used.

picked up some nice bats -- Ross, Posey, Brett Pill bat likely possibly used to hit HR in his first MLB at bat. Pill broke the bat in his third AB but seems ot have used the bat in all three at bats.

also picked up some game used hit balls and Torres and Romo helmets

I picked up a ton of bats. I got a Ryan Voglesong, C.Ross (Lincecum bat), Fred Lewis, Scott Mcclain & Joe Martinez. I am just 3-4 bats away from my 2010 SF Giants G/U bat collection. I also started a Fresno Grizzlies collection and that is why I got the last three. Heck, I already cant wait for next December LOL

On the second round they did last week I bought 2 Aaron Rowand bats, Nate Schierholts bat & a Randy Winn G/U bat. If I have some more cash I would have bought even more
