Want to see a 98 mph MLB authenticated ball looks like?
Re: Want to see a 98 mph MLB authenticated ball looks like?
Neat ball, congratulations.
Several of Aroldis' (in dirt) pitches were authenticated on the basis of MPH in one of those games where he couldn't find the strike zone earlier in the year... and earned him on a rehab assignment in the minors last year.
What I particularly like about yours is that it was a productive pitch (a strike).
I really hope this is a big year for Aroldis. He has the kind of talent that if channeled well as a starter could really be lightening in a bottle for our Reds this year. Just think if Chapman, Cueto, and Latos each prove to be top-of-the-rotation worthy this year...

Yes, great ball. Any Reds collector would love to have that!
Mr. Hess, I followed your link to view your collection. Impressive to say the least. What I think is most interesting is your age - 21. I didn't think the younger generation was too involved in this aspect of the hobby. I thought it was more for us old guys (I'm 50, however, I was 14 when I started my game used / game worn jersey collection - with a lot of help from Dave Miedema)
Anyway, thanks for sharing. I can't wait to see your collection by the time you hit 50! (I hope I'm still around!)
