I forgot all about Grant Balfour If any one can pick up a used or MLB Authenticated (to game use) jersey of any type of Grant's at about $150 i'd be very much appreciative. Also any caps ($50 or so) or anything else that may be there. Sorry for the late notice

Went to the Fanfest today and got a pretty nice haul. No Matsui, Suzuki, or Weeks per the list that was handed out. Prices were reasonable as usual, the gold jerseys were pretty popular as expected.

Despite the fact that I got there when it opened, the pickings were already slim when I got there. I ended up with a Ryan Sweeny and David Purcey. I got caps from Kevin Appier, Ernie Young, Steve Wojciechowski, and *maybe* Eric Chavez's rookie cap. I will post pictures soon.

My brother ended up with a Harden jersey that someone decided they didn't want at the last minute.

Did they hand out a list at the Fanfest? Or is there an A's email list?

          Thanks,
          Mark.

Here are pictures of what I got.

Question for anyone that may know: is this Eric Chavez's rookie cap? His rookie number was 30, and then changed to 3. It says 30 on the front panel, and three on the underside. The tags look about right for 1998. It could not be from earlier seasons because there was no number 3 while these New Era tags were in use.

So, if that is Chavez's cap, then this MUST be Kevin Appier's cap, which has the "Authentic Collection" tag that New Era started using in 1999. What do you think?

With #30 and Rock written on the outside of the cap maybe it was used by Tim Raines during the 1999 season?

Wow! It could have been! But I always thought the Diamond Collection changed to Authentic Collection in 1999, and it still doesn't explain the 3 on the underside. It could be either I suppose. I'm not complaining either way!

Just my 2 cents, but maybe the "30" & "Rock" are meant as a tribute to Raines by the player who wore #3..similar to how other players have honored teammates in the past...anyone see any Jay Payton A's items? Thanks, Jay

Like everyone is saying not a whole lot available. I got there 2 hours before it opened. But with the GU stuff on the other side of the arena than the entrance. I am not as fast as I used to be and lost the race to some of the younger or more agressive people. No bats or helmets. No Weeks or Suzuki. No Cahill, Geo or Bailey. Only a one page list down from the 3-4 page list of the past. Pickep 3 MLB auth jerseys. #23 Taylor was the best. #21 LaRoche and #11 Powell. At $40 for the last 2 at least I will not feel bad about wearing them if I want to. Also picked up a couple of pair of Turn Back the Clock uniform pants, at $10 a pair, a gold '73 from the 2010 game and a white '81 from 2011 game, will have to check to see who wore them.

Did anyone pick up an extra gold jersey they're looking to move at a reasonable price? I'm not picky on the player (although, I'd be interested in Scott Sizemore over anyone else), as long as the price is right. Let me know!

As others have already said, the A's memorabilia sale was a disappointment this year in terms of both player selection and quantity. Luckily I got in early enough and was able to pick-up the following jerseys:

Josh Willingham - Green Alt Cool Base MLB Authenticated
Chris Carter - Alt Green Cool Base MLB Authenticated
Grant Balfour - Alt Green Cool Base MLB Authenticated
Fautino De Los Santos - Alt Green Cool Base MLB Authenticated
Josh Outman - Alt Gold Cool Base MLB Authenticated

I also picked up the following hats as there were plenty from the mid-90's to present:

Eric Chavez - Game used road cap x 2
Eric Chavez - Game used BP cap
Mark Mulder - Game used and autographed road cap x 2
Kurt Suzuki - Game used road cap
Unidentified # 49 cold weather road cap with ear flaps - Brett Anderson?

rdeversole - From what I saw, there were at least 4 Willingham jerseys available. I'll keep you in mind if I deceide to sell mine. I'll also check with two of the others who purchased Willingham jerseys.

I noticed that a lot of the the A's jerseys with MLB holograms are listed in the MLB Authenticated database as "Team Issued" even though some of them show a lot of wear.
