AWESOME Shef bat.......that does make ya go woooooooooooow!!!!
always looking for Detroit Tiger world series player bats......game used 2006 & 2012 world series items....Quintin Berry bats....also interested in Ivan Rodriguez bats... Thank you, Dale tigers1984@comcast.net
Hmmmmmmm, why would you assume sheffield did not write the inscriptions? Im confused
Sheffield may very well have written it all - I'm not doubting, it's only that I've never seen a player write that much stuff on a bat. Most players wouldn't take the time. The "Elite" sticker didn't register the first time I saw it, so obviously this was done at a private signing, where Sheffield would have had all the time in the world to do it, and no doubt they told him what all they'd like to have him put on the bat. Now that I think about it, it makes sense that Sheffield would have written it all. I just wasn't thinking it through before - sorry.

godwulf, no worries the main reason i purchased the bat was that i was amazed of how much was written on it. Rich was right, the loa does have a picture on it of sheff signing the bat. Thanks to steve and everyone else who enjoyed seeing the bat:
Also a nice Clayborn Hawkeye jersey. Possible photo match, trying to get better images of the stain below the Nike logo (2009 Away jersey?) dougiedshow@aol.com
My consignor asked me to auction some a couple of early 1970's Chicago Bears jerseys for him. The winner of the dark blue jersey, AFTER the auction had ended, asked if he could pay for the jersey in installments. I nixed that request and decided to work out a cash / trade deal with the consignor. Although I am a Dallas Cowboys collector, I fell in love with the beauty of the Bears jersey. All original and team repairs - this one now belongs to me! The deal was concluded yesterday.

The white spots on the front and back of the jersey are from my camera.
