I've never had any luck finding my bats on Topps cards but I believe I've found a match!
The 2012 Topps Opening Day Joey Votto base card image is from the same June 4, 2011 photoset on Getty that I used to match my bat. The photo details actually even states that it was his home run at bat! Now to match it to his 2012 Topps card really puts it over the top.

I'm pretty happy. I had been "shopping" this bat a bit but I believe I'll hold on to it for now. It was lightly cracked 2 days after these images were taken and MLB authenticated.
