Over the past year or two I've been given hats from

    Ben Rowen
    Khris Davis
    Donovan Hand
    Taylor Green

I've also been given cleats by J.R. Towles.

I stopped staying at minor league games in attempt to get broken bats because I got more focused on actually getting autographs

Got another couple of gifts at the final Padres game today.

Game bat from Logan Forsythe.. Not much use but he signed it

And a catchers mask from Nick Hundley. Not one of his gamers, but a back up he had in his locker.

Here are two items given to me by my favorite player Todd Frazier. As many of you know, told was a huge part in the Cincinnati Reds' postseason run last year once Joey Votto went down with injury. I was able to develop a good friendship with Todd during the year and maintain it this season also. He sent me these last month in the mail for a pleasant surprise!

    2013 game used/signed batting gloves

2012 season used/2013 spring training used (he got a new pair from Nike that were of the flip model kind)

I do not think someone questioning their authenticity would ever effect the value to me. Those gloves will always mean more to me then any other pair of gloves, and most of the jerseys I have. Brandon is my favorite player and I have quite a good collection of his items, but those gloves will always have a story behind them.
Are you from the KC area?

I just ask them for it. I've been successful 4 times. Not bad but I go to a lot of games.

I've built up some good relationships with several of the guys through going to games, season ticket holder events, charity events and other events. Sometimes they'll just give me something, but most of the time we've worked out trades. I usually just wait until the end of the season to collect. Chase has been hooking me up for about 4 years now, and I just photomatched those shoes to at least one game in Cincy in August...but probably several others. Just hard to match shoes.

Just sent him a pic on twitter hoping he'd see it, few min later he asked for my number and sent me a text. We agreed on the nov 4th game and met him coming off the field at the visitors tunnel. Couldn't say no to a Steelers jersey even though ill never find another one of his Giants.
