I recently acquired this Nelson Cruz 2011 World Series Jersey which was purchased directly from the Texas Rangers. The jersey has been worn multiple times and has some history to it which is listed below. This jersey has special meaning to me because I was at Game 3 of the 2011 World Series and saw Cruz hit the HR during the bottom of the 4th inning. It was also a lifelong dream to attend a World Series game and this was my first.

Great story, and congrats on the pickup. I know how special it is to be at a game that is significant personally and then to pick up an item from that competition. I have a couple of stories like that, but none involve a WS.

Even apart from personal reasons, that jersey is a collector's dream. Not only is it authenticated to the World Series, it has been authenticated to five separate games. I've never seen anything like it!

ALCS Game 1 10/08/11 Detroit at Texas
Duringthe bottom of the 4th inning, Nelson Cruz hits a 396 FT HR to LF off Justin Verlander.

World Series Game 3 10/22/11 St.Louis at Texas
NelsonCruz hits a 390 FT HR to RF off Kyle Lohse during the bottom of the 4th. Inning.Adrian Beltre scores. This is Cruz’s 7thHR of the 2011 postseason.

World Series Game4 10/23/11 St. Louis at Texas
Jake Westwood pitches to Nelson Cruz during the bottom ofthe 8th inning. Cruz singles to RF.

I just cruised through AP images and it looks like 1996 Yankees vs. Braves. 1995 Indians vs. Braves had no logo as I saw.

As for showing off, I need to get some newer pictures but have Matt Stairs' hat from 2008 and a game used ball from Game 1 of 2008 World Series that Pat Burrell reached on an error by Carlos Pena. Also won the Mariano Rivera 1999 World Series jersey offered from 8D auctions this past Winter.
