Did Gordon use a pink bat his 2nd time up when he lined out? Also, is he wearing pink cleats? Thanks

I believe Gordon used the same pink bat both of first two AB. Not wearing pink cleats. I think only players with Under Armour contracts can wear those. I think Hosmer and Frenchy are wearing pink cleats. Gordon has pink necklace and pink wrist bands, with plain white batting gloves.

Nice. Thanks for the info. Montero is wearing pink everything! Hopefully Gordon uses the pink bat again for his 3rd time up when he does some YARD WORK!

Maybe Brian can chime in, but has LVS been using a darker "pink" on their bats for this season? The bats appear to be somewhat darker than the pink bats from seasons past.

I don't think they ever finished selling the 2011 Pink Bats. I do not recall seeing any Astros Pink bats his MLB.com.

Not sure how the Astros do it but the Rays players have the option of keeping them (which im told most players are doing) or turning them in to be sold.

Yes, they are darker this year. They are hot pink instead of the light pink that has been normally used from 06' to 11'.

I wish that they would do the same for Father's Day with blue bats.

Don't own any, won't buy any. The only ways I get one is either would either be a gift from a player or a deal with a collector in the aftermarket.

I know its all for charity but I do feel bad for some of the players. They should have the option to keep (or purchase) their stuff. From what I have been told Ryan Roberts just had his cleats snagged from his locker after the game last year and he's bummed that I have them. He wanted to give them to his mother. Hopefully he gets to keep them this year.

*disclaimer* If he asked me for them when I had them signed I would have definately made a fair trade but he never said a word about them, just heard about it from other people he knows that I chatted with.
