Here's one of my favorites. If anyone ever sees a game used Carver High jersey, let me know
My all-time favorite TV series...I've searched the studio wardrobe warehouses (Universal, Western, Paramount)for the past 10 years looking for a Carver High tank-top. No luck. For that matter, where is Kenny Reeves' Chicago Bulls gamer worn in the show intro?
My favorite sports film is "The Fish that Saved Pittsburgh"...
My "holy grail" of sports collecting is to own a "Pittsburgh Pisces" screen-used jersey. They are stored at Sportsrobe in Culver City, but are not for sale. If anyone ever sees one of these jerseys at auction, please contact me. Some may consider these jerseys as gaudy. But, I consider them to be works-of-art!
I know I already posted here, but had to share this beauty with all of you... The Las Vegas 51s had a "Vegas Night" where they wore these...

Which Carver jersey would be worth the most? If eBay would have been around when they aired the episode where Curtis Jackson dies, I'm sure you would have instantly seen some signed Carver Jackson gamers on eBay.

I keep an eye out for a Set Shot Buford jersey, with Lampson letter.

What do you make of this? In the movie they change the team name from the Pythons to the Pisces.
Julius Erving Game Worn Jersey and Warm-Ups (4) From the Movie "The Fish That Saved Pittsburgh"
The Pythons lot is nice....but no Pisces. Maybe someone with the video can confirm Moses' last name- "GUTHRIE" or "GUTHERIE"? I don't remember NOBs on the Pythons jerseys? Also, Mastro mentions velcro tabs are for display purposes, but were actually used to attach nameplates...still, very cool items.
It appears the second number in Moses Guthrie's Pythons jersey is a "5". So someone defaced a piece of Hollywood sports memorabilia? I could have afforded a Pythons "common" player...but not a "so-called" Dr. J...shame on the consignor! I wouldn't expect the auction house to do research. I just put a voodoo curse on the sucker who sewed "GUTHERIE" on the back of this jersey...
Characters name spelling from the aforementioned movie-dedicated website:
#35 Moses Guthrie #22 Jamal Truth #27 Set Shot Bufford #42 Reverand Grady Jackson #33 Jackhammer Washington #52 Bullet Haines #24 Joseph "Driftwood" Haney #46 Winston Runninghawk #36 Benny Rae #54 Lenny Rae
