Re: Skies the limit
Sure, I'd love to own - or just hold, for that matter - a Honus Wagner bat...and my head knows that Wagner is a more important figure in Baseball history than Luis Gonzalez or Matt Williams, or anyone I've personally met and seen play...but my heart seeks out the things that remind me of my own days in the stands, or just in front of the t.v., cheering on my guys, in triumph or loss. It's the difference between having a watch owned by Abraham Lincoln, and having one owned by your own beloved grandfather - the difference between a relic and an heirloom.Leave a comment:

Tom Seaver game used jersey. I know that there are more valuable and historic players but I want something that will mean a lot to me. A jersey fom the greatest player in Mets history would be the icing on the cake of my Mets collection.Leave a comment:

Bronko Nagurski or Bruce Smith's Minnesota Gophers jersey. Runner up would be Bobby Bell or Carl Eller's Gophers jersey.

Re: Skies the limit
I'd want something from Jackie Robinson's first season. I wouldn't be picky as I think his first jersey deserves to be displayed at a museum, but I'd love to have a cap, or bat as he transcends sports.Leave a comment:

It may sound dumb, but I'd really like to have the jersey Mark Brunell wore when the Jags beat the Broncos in the playoffs.Leave a comment:
