Thanks, Todd. I was looking at AP's site again... the HR photo actually is from 6/9, so the chip was taken out of the cup on 6/9 or 6/10.

Just picked up a 2012 Carlos Beltran game-used bat. I've been able to photo match it to games on 6/4 in New York and 6/10 in St. Louis vs. Cleveland. During his first AB on 6/10, Beltran hit career HR #320. Interesting that by the sixth inning of that game, his bat was missing a chunk out of its cupped end. Very surprised he would use a damaged bat, but seeing is believing.

My wife bought this Kurt Suzuki glove for me off eBay. The seller listed it as a college game used glove, but I was able to style match it to Kurt's days with the Midland Rockhounds. The Rockhounds is the Oakland A's AA afiliate.
