I think shoreman had this bat but albert pujols once wrote on a gamer " Blessed be the LORD, my rock, Who trains my hands for war, And my fingers for battle". To me thats it hands down

I think Albert forgot the rest ...
"And the Angels' owner who throw millions of dollars at my feet." and not to forget
"Oh yeah, the LORD told me to sign with the ANGELS 'cuz the YANKEES are the Evil Empire and the CARDINALS are too naive to think that my heart is bigger than my bank account."
( - this is my extended family's opinion who happened to love the CARDINALS. These were their exact sentiment after Pujols stated that "he would do what GOD wants him to do" )
This post is about inscriptions, why must someone always go on an uncalled for rant? Sometimes I wonder why I even bother posting when people do this. Its a damn shame.

We made the trek to Hamilton Ohio today to get a different ball that had been used at my son's first Reds game signed by Homer Bailey. He was one of a few Reds from that years' roster whose autographs have been very elusive.
As long as we were going I thought it would be fun to ask Homer to sign another ball, pictured below. This ball had been Homer Bailey's 3rd career extra base hit as a batter. I asked Homer if there was anything fun he'd enjoy to inscribe on the ball and he choose the inscription totally on his own.

That one happens to be mine, although I know Bert appreciates it. You have a good memory - that bat has been tucked away for a couple years. It's my favorite as well, thanks.
When I think of "inscriptions" this is always the one I remember, unfortunately....It makes me cringe as it breaks all guidelines of decency.
