Re: Question about Steiner
I would have to say my experience so far with Steiner is horrible. I won the Stefanski jersey on 9/2 and payed for it immediately. Due to the holiday I figured the item would not go out until at the latest the following Wednesday. I sent them a message on ebay on the 5th just to make sure the item was shipped or an answer on when it would be. Today, the 10th I just got a message back from 'Tim' stating he was out all last week on last minute business and he would ship it out to me today and send me tracking info. As of this message, no tracking number has be sent to me.
I could understand that excuse from an individual seller working out of their home, but from a company like Steiner? To me, it sounds like a load of BS. At this point I do not plan on doing anymore business with them and would not personally recommend them at all.Leave a comment:

Re: Question about Steiner
I would be surprised if anybody else goes after that one with all of the others out there at the same price. I sure hope not and wish you best of luck in getting it.Leave a comment:

Re: Question about Steiner
Thanks guys! I am going to try and get in contact with him tomorrow. I was hoping to get a better price on the 2009 Mike Stefanski Civil Rights jersey they have listed for $270. I just saw on ebay today that they had the Hatcher vest starting at $165 so I am going to go for the same on the Stefanski. I figured they would not list the jersey with no reserve for $165 if they would not accept that price if that was the only bid.Leave a comment:

Re: Question about Steiner
Steiner will hold on to an item for a couple of weeks with a one shot one kill payment. They will work on a price depending on how they are in stock with that particular item. Contact Michael Tanella at 9143071012, I've been working with him for 3 yrs now and he always works with me on the best deal possible.
I will agree that Michael is one of the good guys there.
Just hope that he doesnt pack his bag and leave, then you will have to establish a new connection with a not-so-friendly rep.Leave a comment:

Re: Question about Steiner
Does anyone know if they accept items to be signed by one of their clients (ie Jeter)? if so, are the prices reasonable?Leave a comment:

Re: Question about Steiner
I think it depends on the item but they are my favorite big company to work with, everything is always pretty smooth with them and they are easy to work with.Leave a comment:

Re: Question about Steiner
Yes, Steiner will consider offers -- the best way to make a deal is to call one of their sales representatives and speak to them directly. Most of the time they will try to work out a deal with you. I have had good luck with Ken -- here is his contact info
