I picked up a bat that was used by Josh on 5/26/12 for a walk off home run against the Jays and the bat also matches the cover of Sports Illustrated 6/11/12.

The hologram on the bat states the bat was broken on 6/6/12 (a game I actually attended with my son). The reason this bat was so odd to match is the number 32 that was written on the knob wasn’t on the bat during Josh’s game with the Jays on 5/26 or 5/27.

This was a bit perplexing since I'm 100% sure this is the same bat used on 5/26 and 6/6. I can only speculate that maybe when the Rangers hit the road after 5/27, the number was placed on the knob to avoid confusion when placing bats in the visitors’ dugout. I really have no idea just a guess.
