Just got back from Mobile, Alabama from the Senior Bowl and while a lot of players didn't give anything away, I struck up a friendship with Quinton Patton of LA Tech (who's from Nashville too) and Jonathan Franklin of UCLA, and I got this from Jonathan - both guys now follow me on twitter too. REALLY hope the Titans draft these guys (Wishful thinking I know)

Wow that is freaking awesome that he did that. I love players that do stuff like that.

Yeah it was pretty awesome. He told me he also collects game used and baseball memorabilia, and was happy to finally make a Pirates fan happy for once.

So a couple days ago Matt Diaz did a Q&A on his twitter and I asked if I bought a bat would he sign it for me. He said he'd bring me one. Matt shops at the Publix I work at during the offseason. Yesterday he decided to stop by the store, what a great guy.




The bat is from 2009 and I have yet to try and photomatch it. Any help with that would be awesome.

Added a couple of Brad Lidge items (seems I have a growing collection of his now). Lelands sold game used balls that they got from him directly from 2008 with inscriptions. This is the third one I have picked up. Also added a Lidge locker room nameplate (my first of any kind). It was listed as 2011, but MLB hologram is for 2009.
