All i can say is wow haha. A coa for a bat that has long been sold. Reminds me of when xbox came out and people were selling just the cardboard boxes online and tricking people into thinking they were getting the product.

I have seen Jeter bats without date code on the knob - some from '08 and '09.

I also have seen a Jeter bat with the "game used" inscription (I have not seen those before until someone shows me one) without date codes on the knob. It has Steiner LOA and hologram.

Unless the potential buyer can see the 125, it would be very difficult to tell the difference.

"Hey, it's Jeter letter so it cant be wrong, right?"

Steiner does use "generic" holograms on Jeter's gamers - I am hoping that they would use "matching numbered" holograms instead.

Jeter signed letter is a nice provenance along with the item - but in case like this, it just spell trouble.

Furthermore, there are other Jeter letters listed and they have not been sold and it is about 1/3 of the price. The only logical answer - this letter is associated with a BAT.

PS. I dont know how to attach the image in this post, so if anyone knows how to do it, please do. The discussion about this will popped up later on anyway.

I've been watching that too.. I'm surprised its going so high. I'd suggest saving images of it and trying to photomatch the letter if you're ever considering a 2010. For example how his sig interferes with the typed letters.
