Nice Gadsden, I figured you would be all over it! I wonder why so many people misspell his name? Was the seller in such a hurry that he didn't read the nameplate as he was posting the auction? Probably cost himself some money there.

The only issue I have with the jersey is it's size. In 99 he wore a 44, and in 98 with the Forest Dragons he wore a 46. This may not be that uncommon though, street free agents may just be given a jersey and have little say in size/specifications. I briefly looked on checkoutmycards (comc.com) and it does look like his starter jerseys were a little baggy.

Does the jersey have any repairs? If not, you may be able to match the mesh patterns with some cards that have close up photos.

Hey guys got what i would call a grail for me. Oronde Gadsden is my favorite all time player and always looking for his stuff.
I saw this listed and had to have it. I did as much research as i could before hand and felt good enough to buy it. It is heavy duty like my other gamers and logos and years are correct.
Gadsden was a rookie in 98 and this jersey has a 97 tag in it. They only used starter for 2 seasons 97 & 98 so it could have been left over from 97 and they used it as he was a FA signee from arena football.
Anyhow if anyone knows anything else please lmk. I think it will be impossible to photo match as it has def been washed. Anyhow here are the pics.

awesome! He had amazing one handed catches throughout his career. He was the last WR to catch a TD from Marino in the regular season!

I am very very pleased to add this to my collection. 1960 Stan The Man gamer. This one has the rare full name labeling as opposed to "Musial Type" that you normally see. Thanks to Ben Thornhill for helping me find this.

FERNANDO GAGO REAL MADRID 2010 BLUE SET AWAY VS REAL VALLADOLID 3/14/10 MATCH WORN JERSEY

The jersey has the white ribbon on the left sleeve. During that game Real Madrid was wearing a white ribbon as a tribute of the death of Spanish writer Miguel Delibes. I was unable to get a photomatch or find a picture of him wearing the jersey during the game due to him being a substitute in the last 4 minutes of the game. I was able to find a photo style match of another player wearing a similar jersey

Pro bowl Jerseys are issued... That McNair is unbelievable. How do u guys find these treasures at thrift shops? How do the end up there?

Thank you sir - complete luck honestly - I actually asked and they said the person who donated it knew it was "his" jersey and it was a friend or family member. If that's the case I'm even more perplexed as to WHY it was donated but nonetheless...when I saw it hanging behind the register I noticed it was sewn, then looked toward the bottom of the jersey and noticed the velcro strap and then thought, "okay, I've got something here." And then I realized I stumbled upon something.
