Finally getting around to posting my Detroit World Series pickups...
- Ramon Santiago Game #3 home jersey, he didn't play in the game but there are a few tobacco stains on the front.
- Danny Worth home batting helmet, pinch ran in one game but couldn't find anything close to be able to photo match. The shot from the dugout is still kind of cool. (If anyone has MLBtv and could get a tight shot of him on first base I'd love to see it.)
- Delmon Young road cap, shows some dirt around the edges but again, noting that could be photo matched.

Thought this was a cool piece to add to the collection. It's the Jersey Cal Ripken Jr. Wore during the 25th Anniversary Celebration of the Orioles World Series Win of 1983. He wore this July 23, 2008. MLB Certified for the autograph and comes with a Team Letter.

Traveled to SF last week, after a quick detour to Disneyland with my son, and had the pleasure of visiting 49er HQ in Santa Clara. As many of you know the team is building a new stadium which will have a 25,000 SF HOF within. The executive in charge of putting together the HOF was nice enough to invite my family and I to the facility for a tour, which was absolutely amazing.The 49ers have a beautiful complex and the new stadium will open for the 2014 season right next to it.

I also had the chance to visit with a long time 49er collector and friend who has a great vintage collection which is concentrated around the 1950-60s. He also still has a number of 1980s game worn jerseys, most of which were sourced directly from the team. Over the past few years I have lowered the number of 80s gamers he has considerably though!!!

Two new additions to the collection:

Freddie Solomon mid 80s home game worn jersey. I have only seen one other Solomon shirt sold and that was on eBay a year or so ago. I had my friend look at images of the shirt and he thought it did not look like a typical 49er game worn jersey of the era (no tapering to shirt was one of the issues he had with it).

John Frank away mid to late 80s game worn jersey with outstanding game use and multiple repairs. Another extremely rare 49er gamer from the height of the teams dominance.

Always buying 49er game worn jerseys especially vintage gamers and ALL 1994 game worn items. Also actively looking for any Steve Young game worn items including USFL items.

Paying a finders fee of up to 500$ or 10% of the shirt price for information that leads to a sale.

My latest addition to my "Hawaii" collection, a Kila Ka'aihue Royals game used locker nameplate. Does anyone know what year it's from? I believe it's from either 2010 or 2011. It measures 3.5" wide X 12" long.
