Nice Gadsden, I figured you would be all over it! I wonder why so many people misspell his name? Was the seller in such a hurry that he didn't read the nameplate as he was posting the auction? Probably cost himself some money there.

The only issue I have with the jersey is it's size. In 99 he wore a 44, and in 98 with the Forest Dragons he wore a 46. This may not be that uncommon though, street free agents may just be given a jersey and have little say in size/specifications. I briefly looked on checkoutmycards (comc.com) and it does look like his starter jerseys were a little baggy.

Does the jersey have any repairs? If not, you may be able to match the mesh patterns with some cards that have close up photos.

Thanks guys. I turned it inside out and didnt find much. I have been looking at pics and will try my cards as he had a bunch in 99 so in 98 jsy.
I am just glad i was able to get it.
I have gotten a few things of his cheep mainly B/c people cant spell his name.
You get gadsen alot and gadsdan also gadson. So many ways.
Oh well easier for me to get great deals.

I do have a signed jsy of his on a authentic replica that is a starter jersey and they are very different so that was a good sign to me as well.
Like you pointed out alot of pics he has rom 98 the jersey isnt very tight on him.

Just came back from the area Goodwill store with a game-used item...a Russell 1995 Cardinals road BP jersey of #12 Mark Riggins (3B coach). Not for the personal collection, but how can you turn down a low-priced GU item that you stumble on like this? I've still gotta find several more, though, before I can approach a buddy like Christopher Wood.

Picked this up this weekend - for the price I got it for I couldn't pass it up:

Gary Childress 1999 game worn Clemson Tigers football helmet w/ lots of use. He played high school football here in Nashville and was a D-Lineman at Clemson in the late 90s.

Helmet has a "BR" tribute decal on the back right - does anyone know what the BR signifies?
