...it has cost me money... ...by being so exciting and informative!
I only owned one NFL gamer before now. Love it. Then of course NFL season was in full swing, and I come along here and see 'show off your ___' threads and it makes me want more...
Then I see the Hunt auctions, and decide that I want to try to get something. Particularly keen on one with a captain's logo (I really enjoy that thread), but mostly just trying to get something, and that which I could afford.
Was totally outpriced of most of the stuff, but found two that seemed about right. I couldn't decide which one I wanted more, especially being two different styles of jersey, and with the bidding going to live auction after the internet portion, I knew there was a chance I would get neither, so I put bids up on both.
I won both...
So here they are in all their glory. One is very very easy to photomatch, the other I have "attempted" to, but it's a bit too hard to tell:
October 14, 2012. Redskins vs Vikings. RGIII only threw FIVE interceptions all season, and this guy picked off #2 (to go along with 5 tackles in the game):
the jersey is very dirty...
...and very easy to photomatch...
The second one I like a lot, mostly because of the player. It could only have been worn on either (or both?) October 9, 2011 vs San Diego, or October 23, 2011 at Miami (a game in which he had 5 tackles, 2 sacks:
My attempt at photomatching is based on a little black mark and a little fray at the top of the orange, plus the fact that I really want it to be from the Dolphins game....
