Bought these gloves from the Royals game used store. The guy running it said they were used by Billy Butler in the All Star game but I don't see any pictures to show that. Still a cool item!

Interesting batting gloves. Billy used, exclusively or near exclusively, Franklin batting gloves from the minor leagues up until a couple years ago. In summer 2011, he switched to almost 100% Mizuno gear from head to toe. I do not doubt one bit that these gloves were made for Billy. That said, I'm not sure they were used in the actual All Star game itself.

It looks like he wore his now typical Mizuno batting gloves during his two at bats. And also during BP on workout day...

Sorry to say, I don't see them having been used in the game due to his contract with Mizuno... But they are some really cool batting gloves.

Yan Gomes' Max bat cracked on 04/14/13, MLB authenticated, used to hit first home run of the season and 5th of his career on 04/13/13.

Photo-matched thanks to a big assist from Klattsy with MLB.TV screen shots.

First picture is the at bat when Yan hit the home run; the second picture is his next at bat during the same game, the third picture shows his first at bat on 04/14/13 before he cracked his bat, and the last picture shows him after he got a new bat and gave the cracked bat to the bat boy.

I was excited to get my first Yan Gomes bat, and photo-matching it to a home run is a bonus!

Chipper Jones game used batting glove from his last season with the Mizuno commemorative logo they created for him. Won this in the KLF auction. This is definitely my grail item since the glove was used in his last season and has the special Mizuno logo.

A couple more additions to my Tigers collection...

DJ Stephens blackout jersey (looks like the "21" patch was added later as the jersey has use but the patch wasn't on the jersey in the game.
