For a great cause and you can only hope that the money helps cover all the medical bills from the injured. With all the trauma they have endured, you just hope it gets to those people first.

Proceeds will benefit the Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick and Boston Mayor Tom Menino’s One Fund Boston, Inc. to help the people most affected by the tragic events that resulted from the Marathon Bombing on April 15, 2013.

I wonder if the patches were ironed on? During the game I saw a couple that that looked like they were ready to fall off, so maybe that was the case in the picture you posted?

I just noticed that on today's uniform the Boston players had the patch on thier left sleeve. Are those patch sewn on or heat pressed?

They sure are.

I was thinking about bidding on the Victorino jersey but it's going to be way over my budget. At least the proceeds are going to a good cause.

From the pic that Bobby posted, I don't see any stiching. Must be a heat pressed patch.
