Isn't this the same pair of cleats available from eBay member rdeversole today for sale that GUU member rdeversole showed off on this very thread as a "highlight" of his collection this week?
Why do you keep hating on JDEVERSOLE? You mention that this WAS an enjoyable thread. Who says it still isn't? Just because you don't agree with something he is doing doesn't mean everyone feels that way. He isn't breaking any forum rules. Leave the guy be. As another member said, maybe he wants to keep the cash flowing so he can get something else he wants. Either way, you look bad for posting about him. Then to do it twice or more makes it look like you're stirring the pot.
I'd like to commend JDEVERSOLE for NOT responding to the negativity and not getting involved in the drama.
I have Votto's game used first base from his first hit (which was a HR) game.

For admirers of rdeversole's "collection" shown off here as personal collection "highlights" last week, he listed another of his personal collection highlights:
From my perspective, there is nothing wrong in America with being a small scale entrepreneur... just own what you are... a dealer.
To answer the question "where is the love"... I feel our board is abused to have just been shown his "highlights" last week in anticipation of him marketing them on eBay. It more or less killed what had been a well liked thread here. He did the same thing in another thread recently which I won't draw notice of until after that auction ends for fear of giving him more free advertising in an auction environment.
The particularly strong need to be observant here comes from my experience observing this particular dealer habitually portraying himself as a communal collector when in practice he is a (non-forthcoming) dealer. I need to be careful not to tell broader stories which could be perceived to bemoan the person's character. But the collecting community deserves to know the truth about posting practices for the person who is constantly on here trolling for new inventory and giving people the impression that he is generally just one of us collectors.
Beautiful Bat And So Is The Helmet On MLB Auctions! I Disagree Kind Sir, Wouldn't A Dealer Only Deal? A "Hoarder" In My Book Never ISells Anything! Collectors Change Their Mind All The Time. Maybe Next Year I Want To Collect Camo Jerseys So I Sell All The Jerseys I Have Now To Make Room. That Makes Me A Dealer? I'm Just Kind Of Confused By Your Definition Of Collector And Dealer? Maybe The Votto Collector Wants That Helmet On MLB Auctions And Needs Some Extra Cash To Make The Purchase.

Yeah - the jersey is from 2010. It was used during the regular season and postseason. MLB authenticated as used in NLDS Game 1. I also have the photmatched pants and hat from the same game.
