Could they have worn the Dark Jerseys in Pre-Season 2010?

They didn't wear any in the preseason that year. Just white and blue from the jersey color schedule that year.

Nevermind, I see it's from the Ravens game. That's the closest game I've been able to find to match this to as well.

This was the closest thing that I saw that matched your loose string on the crest, but I just didn't see any of the 4 games where the light blue seemed to protrude beyond the shield......Have you checked the 2011 season for a match?

Need help trying to photo match a jersey of mine. Carolina Panthers 2010 Gamer of Steve Smith.

Would love some help. I've done some preliminary research and have narrowed down the possibility of games down to four for the 2010 season in which the Panthers wore black.

Nov 7, 2010 v Saints.

Nov 21, 2010 v Ravens.

Dec 12, 2010 v Falcons.

Dec 19, 2010 v Cardinals.

If I could zoom in on some of these photos, I'm sure I'd be able to locate some of the details to my own jersey. Speaking of... here are pics to my jersey...

Based on some preliminary observations, I'm leaning towards it being from the Baltimore game based on how the numbers are wrinkled. Please let me know what you think.
