Wow, that thing is beautiful! Looks great! If you're interested in selling, there are a ton of collectors here who would be interested... A properly tagged 1971 Set 1 Tim McCarver jersey is very desirable. He played nine years in Philly and has a large following because of his broadcasting work that has spanned over 30 years.
GREAT jersey!Leave a comment:

Use the preview button the next time you want to post pics. If the photos were added successfully, you'll see them show up in the preview.
There are collectors here who know just as much about flannels as the finest authentication companies. I'm sure they'd love to see your shirt and can tell you more about it.Leave a comment:

Re: Restore Jerseys
Lots of member here collect jerseys from the 1980s and older (sounds like your jersey is probably in that category). We always like to compare tagging, repairs, sizes, etc. Hope you chime in more in the future and enjoy the ride!!!Leave a comment:

Re: Restore Jerseys
I picked up this 1986 Red Sox jersey at this year's Fanfest at the Javitt's Center in NYC. I bought is from a guy who had a rack of minor league jerseys. When you hold it to the light, it is obvious that the "5" in the 59 used to be a "2". I cannot however tell what the "9" used to be. I am curious to hear thoughts about having it restored.Leave a comment:
