Got a 1983 retro White Sox GU cap used by the team, along with corresponding uniforms, as their Sunday home alternate attire. A big thanks to bullpen catcher/catching instructor Mark Salas for adding this great lid to my collection

Any story behind the Waldo hat and the glasses?

I attended many St. Cloud State Hockey games wearing a Waldo "costume", so I decided to try it for the first time at the Twins finale. As you can tell by the pictures, it worked.

Did you buy these or were these given to you by the player at the last game? Very nice haul either way.

I got all three directly from the players. It was surreal. I thought getting a bat from Luke Hughes (Drew Butera model Big Stick) at the end of 2011 would be a highlight that would be tough to top... but this CRUSHED it!

Trevor Plouffe is my favorite player, has hooked me up with 2 bats now, a pair of batting gloves, and nearly 10 baseballs over the past 2 years. I think it's easy to see WHY he's my favorite.

How many games do you attend at Target Field? I do believe that if a player sees you and remembers you he is more likely to give you an item.

I go just under 20 games a year, plus I try to do a road trip or Spring Training. The Plouffe thing started off as a Twitter contest thing that I won, we talked about it during 2012 Spring Training (given my first bat) and have stayed relatively close ever since.

The Twins are an outstanding bunch of guys for the most part, so a few of the guys have started to notice and acknowledged me in positive ways.
