Have a closeup of the back and thoroughly convinced based on the various decal placements. ESP where the riddel is under the colt sticker.

..oh, and Peyton signed a letter stating it was worn during either preseason or the season of 2003. So granted/given 2003, the "PK" places it in the post season at least.

The more photos you can find, the better. Especially if you can find game photos that show the back of the helmet in detail so you can zoom in and compare the decals.

Hi, From a Photomatching stand point based on the pictures provided thus far… I would say that this helmet was not worn in the games of the pics that were posted. Right off the bat you can see that the "1" on the rear of the helmet itself is further to the left off of the center stripe- this then throws the other two decals too far out of whack (too far to the left) as well.
In the actual game photos, you can clearly see that the nfl shield and the memorial decal are positioned on the helmet to where they are fitted INSIDE of the rear bumper… On the helmet itself, they are positioned on the edge or actually OUTSIDE of the rear bumper…
IN MY OPINION, based on the photos provided, this IS CLEARLY NOT the helmet on Peyton's head in the pictures…

Also, On the rear of the helmet, the "8" appears to be noticeably crooked and in all of the game photos it appears to be pretty straight…

cant seem to decrease the file size on the online pic which is more direct. anyways.
sorry but i respectfully disagree. i see what youre saying but remember that youre looking at a curved surface taken at different camara angles for both the photographer and me. which distorts decals etc. thanks for your opinions.

The decals are within the bumper. The edge of the memorial decal are outside as they are in the pics. I see how you can see the eight askew but again that's the angle distortion.

The crooked number, lol.

I've got a Reggie Wayne game worn helmet, had the darn 7 slanted just like that "1" on yours. Don't understand it, a pro sports team and they have issues getting numbers put on correctly. Pride in appearance should go a bit further, in my opinion.

Nice Manning helmet though!

Trying to help here and thought I may have a "hit" off of a marking on the right side of the helmet. The AP Images are not as sharp as I hoped, but there is a black marking to the right of the posted helmet that looks to match that of the helmet worn by Manning at the 2004 Pro Bowl. May be that my eyes are fooling me, but wanted to share. There are couple more photos too on the AP site.

I am sorry but I still see decal spacing and placement problems with this helmet… Please correct me if I am wrong. Paperwork says "game or practice used" . If it were my helmet- I would start looking at practice footage…
