a BRAND NEW silver paint pen on the back. That way it'll stand out and look good and last.

It will work, the only problem is sharpies tend to absorb a little into cloth. Paint pens tend to be a bit more bold and don't bleed but are sometimes harder to work with and cost more. I would go with a silver deco color pain pen and I have used that on jerseys and helmets in the past. Good luck

    Silver. Nice contrast
The gold will get lost in the gold trim.

Silver paint pen (deco color) would like nice as well as silver sharpie. I prefer silver sharpie on numbers that are smoother than the cloth, like on this jersey.

Really all about personal preference. In general I like it on the back so you can display the name. In cases where there is a special patch or provenance on the front I like it there instead. As far as color pen/marker, that usually depends on what color the jersey is, lighter jersey I'd want a darker ink, vs dark jersey I'd want lighter ink

Not sure if silver or gold is the one and what brand

Should the number on the back or front be signed???
