I spent some time looking at this one...asking additional questions and the seller told me she did not know of the LOA's author's problems. Belongs to her father-in-law. I've looked at quite a few 2005 photos and cannot match it. It does have the wrong chinstrap and the Falcons' logo placement on both sides seems a bit higher on the helmet in relation to the top snap from the 2005 photos. The front facemask clip dates, the front Riddell decal, the facemask date, etc., and the facemask itself look solid but I'm too nervous to pull the trigger on this one.

Grey Flannel had a 2006 helmet paired with a jersey in cleats in the their last auction as one guide.

This 2005 Michael Vick helmet being offered on Ebay comes with a COA from Bernie Gernay:

For those who do not know, Gernay was sentenced to six months in federal prison for falsifying game used equipment:

Three more dealers will spend time in federal prison after being sentenced for misrepresenting jerseys they sold, some of which wound up at trading card companies.

    Be careful with this one.
