Just an FYI about this item...there were a couple of these listed a few years back all with his name on them.

The sellers all gave conflicting reports of where they bought these, and I actually won one in an auction. When I told the seller I was getting this signed, he got spooked and cancelled the auction.

I printed out the auction and brought it to Rizzo when he was in Iowa, and he was pretty mad, saying his parents in Florida had all of his gloves..and called his agent on the spot to ask about them.

Thanks for the info, the seller is a massive glove collector and has spotless feedback on eBay. He included a COA he signed indicating that he purchased it from a collector that had obtained it from Rizzo directly. Who knows the origin, but it looks good and has indicators consistent with Rizzo's use (wear pattern showing index finger left outside glove, and extra long finger and thumb loops left untied). It's also his model glove. Interesting that there were a few of these around that were perhaps supposed to stay with Rizzo. I have not seen a glove of his available except one cubs authentics had available through his charity for $1,250 without a COA except that it came from Rizzo's charity.

Wasn't looking but was able to make a trade for this awesome Matt Adams Bat. Anyone have any info on this it would be much appreciated. I found a photo of Adams using a max bat this season but I imagine its from 2012. I love the ball transfers on this bat.

Two very nice Matt Adam bat pick-ups between MLB~NUT and helf35. Those ball transfer marks on the 2nd bat are crazy!

I can give you some info on it. This bat was obtained on 4/29/14 at a private signing done by Matt and his agent. I know this to be true because I was there....and was hoping to take it home with me! Very nice bat with a unique label. I can say that it was used this year either in ST or very early season. You may check Gettys or mlbtv for usage. He did use MAX in 2012 but preferred the black barrel/tan handle then. I have a few block letter models from then and a few signature models from 2012 and 2013.

Picked up an Jose Canseco late 80's/early 90's A's batting practice jersey. For a 20 year old jersey it shows very little wear so I assume it is team isued. A quick look at some images, I have found some style matches, most seem to be from baseball cards of that time period.

Thanks for the info. So far the only bats i have seen him use on mlbtv is the Chandler and the Murruci bats. All have been same color combo though. I did find the getty image of this model bat from a game this month. So maybe i can find an at bat sometime in April. I will just have to thumb through all his at bats. Thanks.
