My condolences. Bill wasn't as familiar to me as the other co-author of BATS, but there's no doubt his knowledge was extensive if he contributed to that team.

Bill Riddell --- R. I. P.
I am sad to inform the GUU members of the passing of well-known and respected pioneer bat collector Bill Riddell on Tuesday August 26 following a short battle with cancer. Bill was a co-author , along with Vince Malta, Ron Fox, and myself, of BATS, the first book on game used bat collecting in the hobby, published in 1995. Bill was a good friend and I will miss him greatly, as will the bat collecting community. Sincere condolences to his wife, Diane.
Mike
