A question please? What do you make of those stains on the Godfrey? They don't look like dirt or mud to me.

Almost looks from the pictures like the color blood dries at.

Amazing jerseys! Love the McDavid. Appears to have some good wear. I hope to make the trip to Erie before he debuts with the Blue and Gold!

Thanks Copa! Its my 2nd one now. I got it through an auction. They usually put one up on auction and thats how I scored mine. I've asked the team and they've told me they dont sell his jerseys outright. If I see anything, I'll let you know. Hope he's going to be a stud!

A question please? What do you make of those stains on the Godfrey? They don't look like dirt or mud to me.
I ask because I have a Falcons jersey with similar stains all over the back only, from a game on artificial grass (so it's not mud on mine) and I can't decide what the stains are and if I should try to remove them. I sorta think mine are Gatorade but the Falcons lost the game so I don't think there were any Gatorade drenchings. I am leaning toward the stains on mine being from a storage issue but I can be convinced otherwise.

I was told they were blood but I'm not sure either. The jersey does have some wear on it but the seller doesn't seem like they're very knowledgable on game used stuff. I know the jersey itself is real because who would fake a Godfrey jersey, but I'm wondering what the stains are as well.

Thanks. The good news on yours is it is on front AND back, so it is consistent (as game use would be). My jersey only has it on the back (and a lot of it), which makes no sense as far as that possibly occurring during a game. That's why I think mine is from storage -- water damage etc. I used to have a hockey jersey that had the same sort of thing.

I would think it is the exact opposite. If he was wearing the jersey, I wouldn't think it would soak through the jersey because his body is in between. But if it was spilled on the jersey while not being worn, it would soak right through. But what the hell do I know....Either way, sweet jersey!

Picked up a few items from my favorite Cubs prospects. Batting practice jerseys which are all autographed from Kris Bryant, Addison Russell, Albert Almora and C.J. Edwards. Also, Albert Almora's game used autographed cleats and a new pair of Jorge Soler's custom warm up Nikes. Lastly, Kris Bryant's Chandler Bat.
