    Re: October 2014 Pickups

I picked up my third stanton bat - I believe I photo matched it from at least 8/25/15 - 9/5/14 in which he hit four home runs and collected his 100th RBI- thanks to Joe O'hearn for the help.

      Re: October 2014 Pickups

I recently picked up Yorman Rodriguez's MLB debut jersey which was MLB authenticated as such and also used in other games as well. Some loose threads also match up to his first MLB career hit as well.

The Yorman Rodriguez bat was cracked during his 2nd career RBI and looks to match up to numerous games and previous at bats. For years he has been known to have crazy potential and tools, hopefully this is just the start!

Thanks. Yes, all-original and in excellent condition. Renko pitched 275.2 innings in 1971, so this definitely got a lot of use.

              Re: October 2014 Pickups

With the help of Mike Acosta from the Astros, I was able to track down the Starling Marte MLB debut lineup card for my 7y/o. He's very happy with his first pickup. Now if I could figure out how to straighten the image it would be a bit better!

I was thrilled to buy a 2004 Astros opening day baseball, signed by Jeff Bagwell - got it from Josh in the classifieds.

As a huge Astros fan, I was at the 2004 playoff games in Atlanta, including the last one where the Astros won their first playoff series ever. I've been looking for a 2004 signed ball, so this is a perfect start.

Here's a picture I took of Bagwell at the final 2004 playoff game in Atlanta.

Adam Dunn's hit single ball from 6/17/13 in Houston. This was Dunn's:
                  -42nd Hit of 2013
                  -Career Hit #1464

Adam Dunn's RBI Double ball from 4/11/13 in Washington. This was Dunn's:
                  -Career RBI #1023
                  -Career Double #302
                  -Career Hit #1428

A lineup card from the 4/10/00 game between the Dayton Dragons and Michigan Battle Cats. The card is signed by many players on each team, including an early style autograph from a 20 year old Adam Dunn. I recognize a lot of names from each team but still need to do more research on the piece.
I'm glad they were able to fit your collection. I was able to use those funds to finally add my Diamondbacks bat. Shows a lot of use. Possible it was a gamer but hard to tell. It does have 32 written in the cup of the barrel but I didn't take a pick of that.

Really glad to add these to my collection...I've been a huge PBA fan my whole life, and Parker Bohn III has always been one of my favorites...anyone else have any bowling items?

Due to my narrow mindedness I never would have thought that bowling game used items would be collectible. After seeing this I can't help but think ,WOW....what a great item. Congrats on your pick up.

Nice Pick Up Ryan. First Dunn bat I have seen authenticated to an HR. I am envious!

                            helf35 - Great Diamondbacks bat!
rdeversole - Great Nationals HR bat! I'm always taken with these LVS anniversary bats and it doesn't get much better than that for an MLB authentication write-up.

Keeping the Adam Dunn pick-up train rolling, I just received this D188 LVS bat that I believe will photo match to the 2005 season.
