Your first teo pictures are the 1992 Season helmet in the 1992 Season Probowl (played in Feb 1993)

Again, Favre wore the high snap Schutt chinstrap and think vinyl jawpads in the 1992 season.

Your probably right on that Helmets...I found them in the 1994 year section on Ebay. My mistake. What about the stripe crease?

I don't see a match. The SCP auction helmet shows a crease. I don't see a crease on the game tape frame that you show.

The Packer Schutt helmets from that time period had the stripes cut flush with the rear lower edge of the helmet. As they were cut by hand none of them were very straight. Put a season or two of play as well as 22-25 years of age and being handled, and the bottom edges of those stripes can look like any blurry frame from a game tape.

I understand that the blue mark could of come from the Lions, or Cowboys. No problem. Just show me a picture of Favre with that blue mark on his helmet. Same thing with any other mark or gouge on the helmet. Anything.

Favre wasn't a lineman from the 1960's, he was a ProBowl quarterback in both 1992 and 1993. With all of the images of him out there it should be easy to find a true photomatch to the SCP helmet. I can take one of my early 1990's AiR Power Packer helmets that I have, slap a #4 dymo tape on it, make up a story and wham-o, a $8-10,000 item.

We'll see this helmet again. It will have Schutt clips on the sides and leather jawpads...or some cocked-up story as to why it doesn't.
