Re: Photomatching: Printing off Getty?
Several MLB images. They have a partnership with Getty but there are some images they can't use. I found this message in my email from a rep dated last year sometime.
"Sounds good, we can't use all of the images on Getty images, but if you have something specific you are looking for, I am happy to try & help."
Don't know if there's a specific criteria of ones that they can't use. Just have to request and hope for the best.

Re: Photomatching: Printing off Getty?
Hey......I just tried to get my first image off Getty to Photofile for a print......they said it was an NFL image and that they could not do a print for me. Anyone have this happen? What types of images are you guys having success with? Thanks.....TonyLeave a comment:

$2 bucks maybe. I think it's free shipping on orders over $15.Leave a comment:

Re: Photomatching: Printing off Getty?
How is the shipping on PhotoFile.
I remember Steiner Photo Store had a nice selection of pictures, but I once saw the shipping price and was so insulted I would never buy anything from them.Leave a comment:

Re: Photomatching: Printing off Getty?
Contact photofile.com. Give them the photo number from Getty and they can usually sell it to you. Typically around $10 per image.Leave a comment:

Re: Photomatching: Printing off Getty?
You contact Getty for the rights, or there's another site (I forget the name, but someone else will certainly know) that does the retail (non-commercial use) sales of photos for Getty. I don't recall the price, but I think it was reasonable, like $20 or something.Leave a comment:

Photomatching: Printing off Getty?
This may in all likelihood be a dumb question, but I recently bought an item that is photo-matched successfully on Getty. It looks like these photos are all private and need permission and/or purchase to acquire one. How do collectors here obtain an 8x10" or other photos from Getty for display purposes? Or is there another way to do this? Thanks in advance.Tags: None
