Most if not all of my GU jerseys have the tag sewn in in the other direction. The washing direction part of the tag is on the sewn in end.

Hey the price jump was so no one would buy it until I figure out the tagging. I figured no one would be dumb enough to pay 8000 without proper confirmation so it would be safe in the mean time. Apparently gamers should have 0062 so so far not looking too promising but I'm going to dig some more. Rcmp69@hotmail.com

That is the correct wash code tag for a throwback jersey. However I have seen hundreds of jerseys including throw backs and never have I seen one seen in upside down like that. It is sewn in cutting off the size and a serial number from being seen so I would say retail not issued. I wouldn't be able to sell it as anything but retail personally.

That is the retail tag for that particular jersey. My exemplar from that game, a game-issued Dennis Dove jersey, has the regular 0062 laundry tag code.

So weird, I didn't purchase it as a gamer or game issued , I wonder why anyone would sew it backwards ...

New member here first post. I mainly collect Zach Wheat as he was born in my hometown. Picked up this game used Wheat bat in May. Just got signed up today to be able to post. Also collect KC Royals items. Have more bat pictures but they were too big to post.

Frank Robinson Home Run ball from 1959, his 123rd of his career and 25th that season...it was a 2-run shot off Warren Spahn of the Milwaukee Braves in Game 1 of a doubleheader at Crosley Field.
