However I did see a batch of spring training bats from this year yesterday and Wilmer Flores still had his bat knob sticker with the Venezuelan flag and his number 4 on his bats. I wonder if they will still allow those flag bat knob decals. X bats applied country flags on player bats.
I had on today's spring training game Cubs vs. Giants on the MLB channel and while Matt Duffy came to bat, the Cub's announcer mentioned Matt Duffy was not allowed to have his signature Duff Beer knob sticker anymore, that MLB won't allow custom knob stickers going forward. Is this true?
Just went back to the Cubs vs Giants Spring training game and after Matt Duffy's 8th inning at-bat, Len Kasper said that starting this year MLB has banned custom graphics on bats which includes personal bat knob stickers. Unbelievable. Collect them while you can!!!!
I am so glad that I got this Kolten Wong bat last year. I saw a photo of Kolten using a bat with the sticker during batting practice. I was hoping to see it during the regular season, but that won't happen now.
Just my opinion, but it seems like MLB is kinda getting down in the weeds on this issue. I think they are pretty cool and I like the creativity that some are using.
Personally I would rather see MLB enforce uniform policy, mainly players that wear their hat off to one side.

Yeah...this sounds like some of the asinine edicts the No Fun League hands down.
