Possibly "NO RISE" indicating they are cut longer than usual. Usually, however, the RISE is indicated on a seperate tag or identified in the embroidery.

thay aren't my pants yet. at least not for the 400 they want.

i figured it might mean something like that. but i thought that info was embroidered in as well, like the "OB"

Maybe it was just something written by the player???

I have a pair of Jorge Posadas Game Used pants and on the inside waist band Jorge wrote his kids names and his wifes.
