Wow Terry.......that cap went quick and I feel it probably could have brought three times the asking price. The scarce Roman Pro caps from that era do not come around often.

Terry.....the Cubs switched to New Era in the mid 1970's. But since that switch, they also used Roman Pro briefly in 1978 and 1979 and then Sports Specialties in the late 1980's and into the early 1990's. Altogether the Cubs have worn 8 different brands from their start.
