Re: Team Set Thread
I did Dave. Hardest White Sox bat in the 21 player set. I believe he ordered 12 or 21 LS White Sox bats.

Re: Team Set Thread
Nice display case! Did you make that yourself? I'm kind of looking for something similar for my 1984 Tigers set.Leave a comment:

1926 Cardinals
I have a few team sets, but it'll take me a while to get decent photos posted. So, I'll start with this one: the 1926 Cardinals, winners of the franchise's first World Series.
The Hornsby is a retail 125, a placeholder for now. He's followed by outfielder (and future HOF manager) Billy Southworth, third baseman Les Bell, and outfielder Taylor Douthit. The non-contract BELL could be an early Les Bell bat, but I'm attributing it to pitcher Hi Bell (it also could be a Cool Papa Bell, but we'll never know). Below it is another retail placeholder, a Bottomley. Based on my extensive research, the FR bat is likely Flint Rhem, the team's only 20-game winner. It's followed by outfielder Heinie Mueller and a hand-turned blank bat, attributed to outfielder Ray Blades. I bought the Blades bat from his family, along with his 1926 home jersey.
In addition to needing Hornsby and Bottomley gamers, I'm looking for a Tommy Thevenow and a Bob O'Farrell. Also interested in pitchers' bats. Please let me know if you have any leads.
