The Reds offered it to their customers for, wait for it...$3,007, haha! I passed and see that it didn't even sell for half as much, as expected.

Anything associated with 3,000 usually in the past holds a premium over any other baseballs. Robin Yount's 3,000 hit sold for 34,000$, all other milestone baseballs of his sold between 900-1300 (500th 2B, 1,000 RBI, 2,000 hit, ect)

I own Ichiro actual hits 3005 and 3006, and paid just over the amount listed about for one "used" in the 3000 game. Id say at 1200+ you made out like a bandit!

If your ball was never hit by ichiro I'd say u made a killing. It's almost like buying a bat that was held by a team mate during same game.
