I was lucky enough to track down his first ever professional jersey (home, the road and alternate are still out there)---from 2001, with the Princeton Devil Rays. The signature is also interesting to me, as it is the earliest copy I have of it (from the end of the 2001 season). The 'G' can clearly be seen, the 's' is evident (he started signing it like a '7' starting very soon afterwards), and it looks like he underlined the Gomes. All things I havn't seen before. The closest example I can find it the facsimile from his Topps contract on various cards. $115 including shipping.
